Washington International Church is in a Season of Transition — and We’d Love to Welcome You.

We’re currently in a time of transition as our Lead Pastor and Director of Church Ministries have recently been called to new areas of ministry. We are incredibly thankful for their faithful leadership and lasting impact.

Even in this season of change, our mission remains strong. Our leadership team is prayerfully and confidently guiding the church forward, committed to caring for our community with clarity, purpose, and hope.

We believe God is writing a new chapter for Washington International Church—and we’re excited for what’s ahead. Just as He has been faithful throughout our story, we trust He will continue to lead us with grace and wisdom.

Our worship services, ministries, and community events are all continuing as usual—and you are warmly invited to be part of what God is doing here.

Whether you’re new to D.C., exploring faith, or looking for a church family, we’d love to meet you!

Associate Pastor, Rev. Lane McIntyre

Lane grew up in a Christian home in the Washington, DC area attending a Christian & Missionary Alliance church in Arlington, VA.  As a senior in high school he felt God calling him to share the Gospel with people groups who had no church in their culture. To get equipped to do that he attended Wheaton College, studying Bible and Political Science, and then attended seminary at Columbia International University, where he double majored in Intercultural Studies and Teaching English as a Foreign Language. With his credentials in TEFL he has taught and worked in a dozen countries around the world in Central Asia, East Asia, the Middle East and Europe.  Lane met his wife Bonnie while guest preaching at a church where she was leading worship.  He quickly felt she was a kindred spirit in life and ministry.  They got married and have built a home where ministry and service are a part of everyday life for them and their four children.  Lane was a youth pastor in Arlington for four years, and has been a pastor at WIC since 1994.  He enjoys music, travel, skiing, coaching sports teams and doing anything with his wife and four children.

Administrative Coordinator, Yenory Orozco

Yenory serves as the Administrative Coordinator, where she supports both the administrative and ministerial efforts of the church. Born in Nicaragua, Yenory came to the United States at a young age and grew up in Virginia and Maryland. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at the age of 10 and was baptized shortly after—a foundational moment that continues to shape her life and ministry.

Before stepping into her current role, Yenory served for several years at the Mid-Atlantic District Office. Today, she ministers alongside her husband, Pastor Julio A. Orozco, at Grace Community Church in Germantown, Maryland. She has a deep love for worshiping Jesus through song and treasures time spent with her family.
